Internal Family Systems Therapy

IFS is a gentle, yet powerful therapy that helps people understand and heal their inner world by exploring the different “parts” of themselves. These parts might show up as self-critical thoughts, emotional reactions, protective habits, or vulnerable feelings. IFS is especially helpful for people dealing with trauma, anxiety, shame, inner conflict, or persistent patterns they want to shift. It’s also useful for anyone wanting deeper self-understanding and healing.


In sessions, you’ll get to know these parts with curiosity and compassion — not trying to get rid of them, but understanding what they’re trying to do for you. Over time, you’ll begin to access your core “Self” — the calm, confident, and compassionate part of you that can help lead and heal your inner system. Sessions are paced according to your readiness and often involve slowing down, tuning into the body, and building trust within. It’s a non-pathologising approach that sees all parts as having good intentions, even if their strategies no longer serve you.
